Our advisers work closely with a whole range of providers, building relationships with them so that you can be assured that their advice is valid and current after all, there’s a lot at stake as choosing a mortgage is probably one of the biggest commitments you will ever make!

Whether it’s just initial mortgage queries, or you want to ascertain whether you can have a mortgage in principle, we are here to help. With your mortgage outlined in principle, you can search for your ideal property with the knowledge that your mortgage has already been sourced.

Martin Woodhead

Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Martin has been helping people find the right mortgage since 2008, working his way up through the industry to become a Mortgage & Protection Adviser in his early thirties. He genuinely loves what he does — guiding clients through the home buying process and being trusted to help with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.


Whether it’s a first-time buyer stepping onto the property ladder or an investor purchasing their first Buy-to-Let, Martin gets the same buzz when the lender agrees the mortgage and the keys are handed over.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling to his favourite spots — Cornwall, the Greek Islands, London, Venice and NYC — and keeping active with golf, football, padel and surfing.

When he’s not working or on the move, you’ll find him walking Bella, his 6-year-old sausage dog. His best career advice? Work hard, keep positive and never give up.

Charlotte Byrne

Office Admin & Training Manager

Charlotte has been working in financial services for over 17 years, starting out as a Paraplanner specialising in the adverse credit market before moving into her current role as Office Admin & Training Manager at Keynote. Over the years she has gained a deep understanding of the property buying process and all aspects of mortgage services, from secure loans to protection and general insurances.

Charlotte builds strong relationships with solicitors and estate agents, and is always happy to provide advice on local services to make sure your property purchase is suitably covered.

Outside of work, Charlotte is a keen runner and triathlete, loves chocolate, and enjoys spending time with her pets Joey and Vinnie. Her favourite escape is Canada, and her best career advice is simple — work with people you enjoy being around.

Emma is a Senior Sales Progressor at Keynote, helping to guide clients through the buying process from mortgage offer to completion.

She understands that purchasing a property can be one of the most stressful experiences, and she’s on hand to provide support and keep things moving smoothly.

Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends, and when she’s not at work you’ll find her listening to the Arctic Monkeys or dreaming about her next trip to Mexico.

Jake is one of our Mortgage & Protection Advisers, passionate about helping clients find the right mortgage solution.

Whether you’re a first-time buyer or looking to remortgage, Jake takes the time to understand your needs and find the best deal available.

Outside of work, Jake is a keen sportsman, from badminton and padel to running and weightlifting – and can often be found listening to Mika or travelling to Manchester, York, or Edinburgh.
